With UBUMWE Sport Initiative, our 235 participants have learned important life skills, principles, and values that promote peace in their families and communities through the game of basketball.
Parents, schools, and local leaders serve as witnesses to the success of our program. Through conversations with them, we see clear evidence that our kids’ behavior has positively changed since becoming involved in the program.
Our program teaches kids values such as trust-building, focus, and communication, helping them grow into future leaders. This program plays an important role in our society, as it has a positive impact on shaping young people into better human beings. To achieve this, we believe it is essential to begin educating the younger generation in our shared values.
We are committed to continuing the program, as it has had a meaningful and lasting impact on our communities and society.
